The Black Dog and the Pheonix
It sounds like an amazing title for a sci-fi novel, but unfortunately I will not be releasing any books in the coming months (although I actually have one I have been working on for some time.) I will however be a Silver Sponsor at the upcoming Garden City Gala which is being held on March 17th @ Blanc Space Toowoomba. Here is a little about spiel about the Garden City Gala... "Our Mission is to inspire people to recognise mental illness and take action against it, especially in the workplace. We want to keep reducing the stigma, help people seek treatment, and see a clear path forward to recovery." If you have read one of my previous blogs you would know that I have had a battle with my own mental illness over the last few years so I literally jumped at the chance to help the Garden City Gala raise money for the Black Dog Institute. I will be creating an amazing bespoke creation for the event which is to be auctioned off to the highest bidder on the night. The creation will be worth more then $5000 and it will be made from 18ct yellow and white gold featuring a Parti Sapphire with a unique halo of white diamonds.

Also I just thought I would take this opportunity to show you something I have been working on for quite a while and it is now getting close to completion. Using the clients scrap gold and unwanted gemstones we are creating this stunning yellow and white gold Pheonix pendant. I will be hand engraving lots of detail in the wings, tail and head and also setting lots of diamonds with a heart shaped garnet in the centre. I am really looking forward to unveiling this piece to you all in the next week or so keep an eye out on our social media.
